For Ages 8 - 11
To write good code, kids need to be able think computationally and understand the expression of the code. It requires both sets of skills.
We believe that the best way to teach these skills is by coding. Each class presents a real world coding challenge that students must answer using a virtual robot. While the first challenges are quite simple – such as having a robot complete a maze - the problems become more difficult as they progress. This requires increasing development of advanced logic, creativity and the application of more advanced coding techniques such as variables, operators, loops, etc.
Python is an increasingly popular language for programmers as it is widely used in data analysis and machine learning. It is a great first language for those new to coding, as it use uses intuitive commands such as ‘if’, ‘for’, ‘while’ that are recognizable by younger students. learners. And all major tech companies and leading universities look for Python programming abilities.
The full Python For Kids course covers 168 concepts in 20 Units. This starter course will cover the first 5-8 units of the longer course.
Python For Kids leads to Python Coding For Kids Intermediate where we introduce coding using native Python.

The curriculum is rigorous, my kids love the coaches. The coaches are not only knowledgeable, they are also patient with the students. They teach what schools don't teach! Useful Share
UCode has the best coding program for kids in USA. They also very flexible with schedules and price. Teachers are knowledgeable and very kind to kids, they have lots of patients on all the manner. About 5 years more advanced in age groups ,than a private school computer program class. If America visited Mars, than your kid need as a minimum, : to learn computer skills !
My son loves UCode! I did not think he would have the patience for programming but he seems to really enjoy it.
