Jeff Miller received his Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, where he currently serves as the Associate Professor of Computer Science and Information Technology Practice. His interests include the teaching of computer science, engineering and Stem education, as well as research into autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation systems. He serves as the Chairman of Sigma Foundation, a non profit organization bringing coding and computational thinking education to public schools in Southern California. He is a senior member of IEE and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
David R. Schneider graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Chemical Engineering, and received his Masters and PhD from Cornell University in Mechanical Engineering. He currently leads Cornell Engineering’s Embedded Systems Laboratory (the “Robotics Lab”). Dr. Schneider has dedicated much of his career towards the improvement of engineering education. With a strong focus on education, David’s endeavors have included the creation of the Intel-Cornell Cup, Innovative Embedded Design National Competition; leading Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD).
Hank Blumenthal received his Ph.D. at the Georgia Institute of Technology in augmented reality and transmedia. He currently serves asUCodes Advisor in Residence where he is researching the application of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality to coding education. Dr. Blumenthal has an extensive background in interactive and digital media having worked with Microsoft, Google, Viacom, R/GA, Bravo, and IFC prior to taking up his current position.
